How did my typing become right-to-left? (and how to change it back to L-to-R?)

I tried copying and pasting a segment of code into my program (using <command> <v>) and then, when I went to type things into my program it all-of-a-sudden (mid-word) started typing backwards (i.e. I would type str and it would show up as rts with the cursor being to the left of the "r"). How do I change it back to being normal? (left-to right, as you would normally type).

is there anything in your preferences.txt file?

there is, iirc, a unicode sequence that turns this on and off, perhaps you typed / pasted that by mistake...

Is it only in the PDE?

It is out of memory, have you tried to close it and run it again?
