G4 library and colour scheme in GUI Builder

edited December 2014 in Library Questions

Hello,

I'm kind of new with Processing and just started to work with the G4 Library and GUI Builder.

I was woundering if there is any way to change the control colour scheme to one that isn't predefined? I can pick choose from RED_SCHEME to GOLD_SCHEME but I would like one that isn't so color full, more like standard Windows-buttons.

Any suggestions? =)

Best regards, Mattias from Sweden = )

If you do a Google search using

    colour schemes g4p site:processing.org

there are lots of hits but this one is worth reading as a starter

If you create your own scheme you would not be able to set it with GUI Builder but can do it in the customGUI() method after the controls have been created.

  • Thanks for your reply! I managed to change the colour scheme by using your instructions.

What I was looking for is to create a user interface that is more like the standard Windows buttons, drop list, checkboxes and so on.. As I mentioned, I managed to change the colour scheme to a grey/white-scale but maybe there is another library that i more suitable for my purpose.. Still, I haven't found any by google.. yet..
