need help to send a h from a button when is pressed with controlp5 to ardiuno
Hi I am new to processing and like it I am trying to make a gui with to buttons to trun a led no and off on a ardiuno but need help with events. say button is pressed I what it to send a H for 1 button and the other button to send a L over to the ardiuno I just need help with the processing side if anyone can help thanks

Well, have you tried to make a simple sketch, first without connection to Arduino? Eg. showing / hiding an ellipse in the sketch.

I can make the buttons and can get it runing but how would set a evert up to send a H over the serial port that won't I count get me head around

Yes, good idea! ;-) I don't know how to code Arduino, but there are lot of threads on it on the forum (search the category for a start), and lot of knowledgeable people on it, so I hope you will get help (or find by yourself... :-)).
I am ok with the arduino code just it just need help with processing side
