Cannot add Arduino (Firmata) library to Processing 2.1.2 in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64 bit
I have a very strange problem and I haven't been able to solve it for days now. I have the latest version of Processing (2.1.2) running in Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit with the GNOME desktop.
Somehow whenever I try to import the Firmata library into Processing either manually or through the application, it just doesn't work. I have made sure that my sketchbook folder is in it's proper place and also re"tar"ed the Processing folder, but it just cannot import this particular library.
But still when I run my sketch, I get the following error:
However it can import other libraries like PeasyCam just fine. Any idea how I can solve this?
