Since five days I can't turn off my mac. I was using processing when suddenly my turn off cause the battery had over. When I turn it on I have this open processing window and everything works ok until I tried to turn off my mac. One of the Java executer was on and even by trying to turn off using the finder options it had been impossible. I don't know if this have happened to some one before. I will appreciate for your answer before my mac become a shit or develop a problem.

Once in a blue moon my iMac has completely locked up and my only solution was to completely power down (hold the power button until it switches off) then wait for a minute before turning the power back on. It didn't hurt my machine but every situation is different so I take no responsibility it it goes haywire.
In the worst case you could boot your machine into Disk Utility (recovery) mode and reinstall OSX, takes a long time but at least you know it fix your Mac.
