Need programming help to create an Interactive Wall

We are looking for some programming help to make an Interactive Wall. It will use the programming from this project:

Or https:// vimeo.com/71203556

We want to use a logo and have the action be the //float TYPO . which shows up at 2:51 on the vimeo video.

It calls for:

https://github.com/smmankad/float

We would like to hire someone to complete the programming and testing for this. Is this a good place to find freelancers with this type of expertise?

  • How much do you pay per hour?

  • I was hoping to pay a flat rate for this project since it's already been done and the details for development are provided:

The &&float Interactive Wall Installation Project

Things you'll need for this to run:
    1. Processing (download from www.processing.org).
    2. The Flob Motion Tracking Library by s373 (plus: Quicktime; and WinVDIG 1.0.1 if you're using Windows). WinVDIG is in the dependencies folder with the Quicktime 7 setup, it can also be downloaded from http://www.eden.net.nz/7/20071008/ . Note that only version 1.0.1 will work, no other.
    3. A (Wide Angle) WebCam - faster the frame rate, the better - this works with regular VGA Cameras too, but performance may not be up to the mark.
    4. A blank wall/flat surface.
    5. A computer with Windows/Mac (Note: Mac testing has been limited and is not guaranteed to work yet.).
    6. A projector (to project the visualizations onto the wall).

Mainly, we need the assistance to complete the programming: 1. find the Flob Motion Tracking Library by s373 2. code logo 3. test with the //float TYPO

The hardware assembly and testing will be done separately here in San Diego.

Can you provide the rate that makes sense to you for this?

  • i just was curious; I don't need any money
