java.net.SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out error when using library manager
Hi, I have recently setup processing 2.1 on a 64 bit windows system - when attempting to use the library manager to download the contribution list I got an "connection timed out while downloading the contribution list" error. I had a look at the console on the processing IDE and that had the following error which started with java.net.SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out. Processing is setup on a work computer could it be being affected by the firewall and if so is there work around.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hi, found the problem, becos the computer that processing is installed on is a work computer i have to use a proxy which means altering two lines in the preferences.txt file; proxy.host=yourproxyaddress proxy.port=portnumber
After making the alteration everything went fine.
