Could not run the sketch (Target VM failed to initialize)
Hei there,
I know there are other Discussions on this forum about this problem but I couldnt find a solution yet. So if I try to run a sketch (it doesnt matter which one, I tried it with sketches which worked earlier) there is a error massage:
Could not run the sketch (VM failed to initialize). For more information, read revision.txt and Help ? Troubleshooting.
I already reinstalled my whole processing software but the settings were taken over (I have no clue how that worked). When I tried to run the sketch earlier there was another part in the error massage which went something like: maybe you set the dedicated memory too high.
So I thought maybe its a good idea to reset the settings but I dont know how. This error occured out of nothing, I just tried to run a little sketch on which im working. I really hope someone can help me. Thanks

Go to preferences and set the dedicated memory to something reasonable.
I already tried to set it on the standart value (its 256Mb I think) but it doesnt solve the problem.
please don't post duplicates. i've deleted the other one.

nvidia graphics card? updated recently?
Well I worte in the other queston that you please should delete this one if you would have to delete one...
I didn't change anything at all with my system. I even tried the new version of Processing, but the same error occurs.

this one had answers. deleting this one would be deleting other people's time and effort.
