I am trying to find a certain well known piece of processing artwork

I can't find the artist or the piece of art. The best I can describe it is a rectangular plane that keeps getting subdivided little by little into a beatiful set of rectangular patterns.

Its an older piece, I just can't seem to find it or it's artist.
