How to recognize the hand open or close by using Kinect.

I know there are a few libraries to detect hand motion, but how can I recognize the hand open or close by using Kinect. Is there are libraries to suit this? I'm on windows 7 64 bit and processing 1.5.1.

If you have any clue about this, please teach me. Thank you:)
