Morphing between variables over time?

Im pretty new to Processing and am trying to re-work my way of thinking from MaxMSP.

There is a great object in max called line that lets you interpolate between two variables over an amount of time.

i.e. int A to go from the value of int B to int C in D milliseconds.

I've been looking around but cant see an obvious way of doing this unless there is something Im missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Carroll -- In the Processing Reference it sounds like you are looking for:

• lerp() (linear interpolation)
• lerpColor() (lerp for colors)
• map (generic mapping of any two ranges)
