Audio encoder aimed at podcasts and audiobooks

edited August 2016 in Share Your Work

I've made an audio encoding front end for lame and opus. It uses the best possible settings to save bandwidth and improve quality. Let me know what you think.

Great! It also works just as well for music, BTW. I made the GUI toward podcasting since podcasts are huge bandwidth hogs compared to music and can be optimized a lot more.

As with any encoder, it's best to start with an uncompressed source (wav, flac, or whatever). Going from MP3 to smaller MP3/opus may have less than optimal results.
