Processing form for Arduino and MS Excel
Hi I am a newbie to processing . Looking for a simple answer to this: On this site Jeremy uses processing form 'Com3' as input for single character data going to the Arduino. This is exactly what I want to do, but with one more step, using Excel as input. http://www.jeremyblum.com/2011/02/07/arduino-tutorial-6-serial-communication-and-processing/ I have emailed Jeremy and he seems to be very busy person so I thought maybe we could sort here without troubling him.
In the form entry is done by keyboard, I want to get the same input but from MS Excel2000. So if I enter on 3 rows in a single column with a single character in each,hit a go button, and it places those characters into theCom3 form, and is actioned from there. I can sort the vba etc but need to know the vba code to place into form Com3. I guess the form has its own address in the directory, but how do I locate this. Is there a processing code that gives you its address so that Excel can send to.
Apologies for my lack of simple knowledge.
