Processing Forum

Hi All

I've written a project using the webcam as a base, but I'd like to transfer it to an external camera (for higher quality and other things)

Looking over past relevant threads like

I can see its not that easy,

I was wondering if anyone has tried to connect processing to something like gPhoto? http://gphoto.org/doc/

I'm planing on running the processing app on a mac, would it make an difference if I ran it on a PC?

and / or anyone got any helpful suggestions for getting processing to capture from an external camera?
