Motion Trails From Webcam

Hi there,
Being a graphic designer I am really new to the processing language and would really appreciate some help with writing code to create solid looking motion trails when people walk past the webcam. I have been looking into slit scanning to achieve this but have so far been unsuccessful. I know it's a long shot but any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
