Creating video output
Apr 29th, 2010, 6:35am

Hi there,

I'm building a unique wall visualiser for a cool project. It will involve  objects in 3D space that move around constantly. I can build it in Flash PV3D or Processing but I'm wondering...which would be easier to capture the video output.

The plan is to display this on a large 46" monitor. I have two options: install processing and run the program dynamically (which would be great because I can do more on the fly dynamic things with it) OR I could pre-render the output and simply display a video playback.

My question is...how difficult would it be to capture the output of processing for high enough quality to display crisply on a 46" (1900x...whatever resolution).

Thanks!

Dave
