When to use Processing vs Open Frameworks?
Apr 24th, 2010, 9:57am

Hello,
I've been using Processing for a while and feel comfortable in the environment and with the language.  I recently attended an Open Frameworks workshop and was introduced to the C++ library.  I'm about to start a new project and I'm wondering if anyone has insight as when it's best to use one versus the other (for artists, not programmers).  Processing is much better documented and I believe has more libraries which would facilitate realizing projects.  However, through Open Frameworks projects can be executed as iPhone apps which I'm interested in doing...  So I'm wondering if anyone has experience or strong perspective on when to use one versus the other?

Thanks,
ricardo
