Layers
Apr 16th, 2010, 2:38pm

Hello i'm wondering if there is a way to create multiple layers in a sketch.
A simple example could be loading a picture or a video and draw on it without remapping it.

Thanx in advance

Avoid all caps subjects, please.

Not sure what you mean by "remapping".
But well, in Processing you have PGraphics which are off-screen buffers, you can use them to layer pictures.
And I think there is a Processing library to ease handling of layers.

Thank You PhiLho,
i'm checking it. I think it's the right direction.
I used (wrongly, i apologize) the term remapping but what i meant is that i was looking for separate "layers" so that i could draw on the upper one without modifying the background one.
Sorry for CAPITAL letters and Thanx again.
