Attaching a camcorder

Hi,

I've started working with Processing for the first time for a college project. I have been able to connect the webcam and operate it from the sketch.
However for better resolution I would like to connect an external video camera via firewire but have been unable to do so.

If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.

Hi,

Which WinDVIG version do you use ?
I am using 1.04 version and it is working fine.
