UndecidedMy company is planning to develop an application for iphones. I am not a hard core programmer. But is interested in knowing whether this programing environment is good to use?

Search iPhone on the forum...
I recall someone mentioning Processing for iPhones, but like Processing.js (another interesting alternative), it is probably a complete rewrite, since Processing is written in Java and you cannot (officially) run Java on an iPhone (AFAIK).

I wouldnt recommend it for serious iphone development.
Why not use the Iphone SDK and program in C++ and Cocoa.
