mixing sketches
Apr 3rd, 2010, 8:11am

hi,
I want to put different sketches togheter
one after the other, in different order
for live performances,
with or without music,

ive seen mother for vjing onar3d.com/mother/
but, what other way to do this?
, play a sketch, and then fade other into the screen, (kind of mixing audio tracks?)

thank you,
Wink

There are lot of similar requests on the forum, with various answers, although transition between sketches is harder (perhaps drawing sketches on offscreen graphics, and merging/blending them on screen?).

Processing combined effort
http://www.openprocessing.org/visuals/?visualID=8251
...
It  has been added to openprocessing.org as part of the useful little tools - Pushing Processing beyond it's limit.

This is a basic template suggested by bit.craft from the processing.org forums

Others have expressed interest in working on a combined processing effort.
The premise is that we are achieve to stitch multiple sketches together after 150 frames
Using passing parameters between sketches to allow smoth transition.
This is a very basic sketch template of what we are trying to achieve
If you have any comments are sketches to submit reply here or post at the following links

From here you can do whatever , apply filters, randomize the order ; the possibilities are endless!!!  Cheesy

Recently as last week , Peter Blaskovic indicated he will contribute to the effort. This dude, is mucho talented when it comes to processing.

Any one desiring to see the awesome work he has done with processing can see his experiments here http://www.escapemotions.com/experiments.html
