random number generators

I'd like to suggest that the developers of Processing consider replacing the Java pseudo-random number generator (PRNG) with the Mersenne Twister PRNG. The latter has better properties. In particular, it has a much longer period, has much better multi-dimensional uniformity, and
is guaranteed to produce the same sequence of random numbers on different machines.
