Great idea.
Have you tried with more complex geometry, and high resolution (more divisions) ?

not yet. i thought about using a fft of a song as input, but I did want to make something easy for the first try

awesome!  I totally dig the blend of the digital with the physical world.  It's so easy to enjoy the simplicity and flexibility of pixels and forget about the fact that we can't actually touch the shapes they appear to be. Smiley

this is great. you should do more in this kind of fields.
i want to see more fabbing stuff made with processing!
