texturing curved surfaces?
Feb 23rd, 2010, 10:30am

hi all.  not sure this is a GL-specific question, but thought it might have some overlap --

i'm texturing a surface using texture(), beginShape(), and vertex().  i just noticed curveVertex() and bezierVertex(), but digging through the source it appears they aren't compatible with texture().

are there currently any options with processing or with JOGL to texture a curved surface?  this is for a realtime application, so performance is a consideration...

thx!

i guess not, only option would be to divide your surface in smaler rects or triangles... regarding your other question maybe this helps you http://mrfeinberg.com/patchy/
