Hand Tracking
Jan 20th, 2010, 3:02pm

I have seen a few people asking about this but I can't seem to find the right answer. Has anybody figured out how to do hand tracking?

I have found haarcascades for hands and tried replacing them with the face cascades in other peoples examples with no luck. I presume this comes down to the lack of a pfacedetect for hands. I have seen 1 face detection that just uses hypermedia... So maybe it's just the haarcascade_hand is not as detailed.

Any ideas? I'm a beginner

And thanks very much Bryan for pfacedetect. It is a great tool.
