Processing Sketch printed on a 3D-Printer

I just printed the first stl file that i generated using a processing sketch.

I used the unlekkerlib to export a stl file from a sketch that generates simple 3d spiral, used blender to add a socket and printed it on my makerbot. Skeinforge complained about some invalid triangles, but beside that it worked surprisingly well.

What prototype machine did you use? I've seen people print out monsters action figures they downloaded from Sony but not anything they made with Processing. Nice one. What material?

Great- I like the fact that the process of printing adds its own (perhaps not completely predictable?) material qualities to the object.

Cool! I think that turned out really well.

I can't wait to see what will happen as 3D printers get more common. It's one thing to make code that makes neat pictures, but witting code that makes neat things is awesome.

That's pretty damn cool.

I've been hankering to make my work into physical objects for a while now, and seeing http://www.shapeways.com/ - and what Nervous System do - has made it seem even more appealing and surprisingly easy!

Too Cool!
A friend of mine was talking about molecular modelling. Perhaps she should be using your technique.
