GL applet and 64bit macOS
Jan 4th, 2010, 4:41am

I wanted to see how my sketch performs on a new iMac. I tried to look at it in safari, where it failed with a message in the applets status line: no natives for mac x86-64 found.

The jogl page is down at the moment, I cannot help myself. Will processing in future support this platform?

Thank You.

I found the jogl homepage now, its not https://jogl.dev.java.net/ but http://kenai.com/projects/jogl/pages/Home

Still no luck, osX x86-64 not available there either.

I'm having this problem too. If I force Safari to "Open in 32-bit mode" I can make my OpenGL applet load, but this is an inconvenient work-around for a casual viewer of my webpage.

Has anyone figured out how to fix this problem?
