Beads- Plug new waveplayers into gain or ac?

I'm using beads, and my project creates and deletes new 'voices' (class containing a waveplayer and a gain, and the envelopes for these two) while running. The problem is, in certain situations, the volume settings of one voice seem to be affecting the volume of the other one.
Right now each new gain is plugging into the main audiocontext. Should I be plugging all the waveplayers into a central gain for the project? Or have more than one audiocontext?
Or could this be just a matter of my own bad organization again?
