Serial device not in Serial.list()

Hello

I'm trying to connect an Ergometer (exercise bike) to processing.
Unfortunately it does not show up in the Serial.list of Processing when I connect it to my Mac.

In the System-Profiler I can see a device called: CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller. This is the Ergometer because the entry goes away when I unplug it.

I connect it with USB, so why is it not in the list?
This did work with an older bike, also with USB.
Are there any drivers that I might need?

Thx a lot for any suggestions.
