i get an error when i try to change my time stap!!

i go to edit profile options. even if i don't change anything, if i hit the save changes button, i get the message:

Error: There is an invalid character detected in the your personal userpic url or picture name.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS ERROR IS TALKING ABOUT.
i don't even have a pic. i can't even find anything called userpic url in the profile or options.

how do i make this error go away?
