Unity3D for /learning/compare/
Aug 30th, 2009, 11:12pm

Hi all,

Over the last few months I've been using and teaching Unity3D. http://unity3d.com/ It's a really good game platform and I've put together some reference that I thought people coming from processing might like. (like all my students)

At the bottom of this post http://www.polymonkey.com/blogger-polymonkey/2009/08/processing-vs-unity.html is a Processing vs. Unity document that follows the same lines as the compare section of the processing site. If you find it useful let me know.

Unity has a pretty complete networking support. I'm sure you could rig something up.

Hello!
I am a big fan of Unity, but I am not yet (unfortunately) familiar with processing.

You can communicate with Unity via plugin\.dll.

Thanks polymonkey. I was planning to add this to the Compare reference this weekend, but now we've decided to add a new Wiki part of the site and you will be able to add this when it's up and running. Thank you for the contribution.
