importing illustrator vector to be used as beziers
Aug 19th, 2009, 11:04am

Hi,
I'm wondering what the best way is to import a vector made in Illustrator so I can then use it as a bezier. I found some posts about SVG Import, but noticed they were all from 2005 and thought that surely there were some recent developments.

Could anyone possibly offer suggestions?
Thank you!

No, using SVG is probably your best option. I don't see why they would be outdated...

Great, I will start exploring the SVG Import then. The 2005 posts said it was still in development, that's why I asked.

Given the complexity of SVG, I think it will always be in development... Tongue
But I think it improved in 4 years...
It still has some limitations, though (support of arc in path, IIRC).
