Text borders and problems installing NextText
Aug 6th, 2009, 6:44pm

Is it possible to have borders/outlines on some text? The text will not be visible if it is the same colour as the background unless there is some border/outline on it.

I think NextText might be able to do that, but I can't seem to install it. What I did was extract nexttext_1.51.zip to \processing-1.0.5\libraries\. So it looks something like \processing-1.0.5\libraries\nexttext_1.51\reference, etc.
But NextText does not appear under sketch>import library. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks.

Yes, lot of old libraries have outdated installation instructions, see those at the Libraries page instead. (In short: install in your sketchbook, not the Processing install dir.)

That solved the problem. Thanks.
