I've been trying to make a video of a traer physics sketch.

Stats on my comp:

OS X 10.5.7
Processor: 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 2 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Using MovieMaker results in a combination of these bugs (I think):

http://dev.processing.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=1181
http://dev.processing.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=882

I installed the latest version of GSVideo. Calling GSMovieMaker results in a 4k unplayable file, even when running the default example sketches that come along with GSVideo.

Screen Cam programs:

Copernicus crashes, Screen Movie Recorder only saves about 1 frame/second.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? If not I'll have to switch over to my windows Sad

I have had good results using ScreenFlow for Mac OS screen captures:

 http://www.telestream.net/screen-flow/

It's commercial software ($99) but there is a free trial you could use to see if it will solve your problem.  I usually prefer open source options, but -- like you -- I couldn't find any open source screen capture software that worked well enough.

Note: I have no relation to the makers of the software other than as a customer.
