This way we can talk to people to ask the silly quick getting started questions. Something like a little shoutbox or an IRC channel in browser.

Good idea. It would make this feel much more like a processing community.

Maybe we can just setup an IRC Channel. Is anybody familiar with setting up a Bot etc?  If not we can just choose a server, maybe quakenet as it is the largest one ( its not for gamers anymore=, and chose #processing.org as channel name. What do you think? Long time ago since i last idled in irc chats since i quitted gaming Smiley

hmm, on the other hand, maybe its a bad idea, cause i blelieve a lot of people will ask for help there cause it is faster, but by doing that we dont collect all these solutions to mostly common problems. Most of the time i get my answere by searching this site
