swampmonster YaBB Newbies Offline Posts: 4 southern USA	umlauts and accents in loadString Jun 23rd, 2009, 3:42pm   is there anyway to keep special characters in strings loaded from a text file? when i print the strings i've loaded, any special characters are replaced by "?"

Scott Murray Full Member Offline Posts: 117 San Francisco	Re: umlauts and accents in loadString Reply #1 - Jun 23rd, 2009, 4:04pm   Check on the file encoding of your source text file.  I believe Processing needs everything to be encoded as UTF-8.  (Anything else will come through in weird ways.)
