The Armstrong Institute for Interactive Media Studies (aims.muohio.edu) is searching for a one-year visiting professor to teach Processing and other code-related aesthetic courses. AIMS is a very unique interdisciplinary program committed to Processing, having hosted multiple summits with Ben Fry and Casey Reas, leading to Processing's 1.0 announcement from our campus. Ira Greenberg also wrote both of his Processing books as a member of our faculty. We are just starting to look at applications and I encourage any of of the folks here to apply. Below is the formal application information.

Art/Interactive Media Studies:  Instructor/Visiting Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate and graduate students in the areas of web-based art/design, computer-generated images, computer animation, virtual
environments, three-dimensional modeling and other virtual forms.

Require:  Bachelor’s degree (for appointment as Instructor), terminal degree in the discipline (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor); expertise in digital technology, theory and practice.  Candidates should have the ability and desire to work at both undergraduate and graduate levels in an interdisciplinary context.

Desire:  Terminal degree in the discipline; professional experience in interactive media; teaching experience at the college level.
