Hello is there is a way of seeing how many cpu cycles does a specific processing sketch consumes?

thanks

Good question.  I'm guessing you'd have to do this at the system level, outside of Processing, and measure it like any other system process.  If you're on OS X, the easy way to do that is run Activity Monitor.

Side note: you might find on the JDK folder (the bin sub-folder) a file named jvisualvm.exe (or equivalent on non-Windows systems).
Run it, then run your sketch: it can show you the running threads, the garbage collection cycles, and even more interesting, the CPU and memory profiling (where it spends most time/memory).
