Minim Question
May 21st, 2009, 9:33am

Hey all -

I just downloaded Processing, and am very excited to start using Minim for online audio works.  My question is: can multiple audio files be called upon to play in looped succession, and if so what are the limitations to the number of iterations?  Is there a maximum integer, for example, and can larger numbers be expressed scientifically?  Or more specifically, is there an easy way to have a piece of audio play through a loop cycle, and then repeat the entire loop cycle a given number of times?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I really hope someone can answer this question... I'm looking to use this in interesting ways, but I'd like to get a better idea of what it can do audio-wise before I start learning an entire programming language.  Does anyone know if you can make a given sound repeat for, say, years and years, and then make it stop?  Can multiple sounds be used in sequence?
