hello

i need to output 4 interactive sound layers
through a usb sound card 5.1 (with 6 mono out)

how can i set one or multiple processing threads to play multiple sound files and apply VST to them

and control every lines separately

???

would it work like a pan ?
how can i do different sources ?
do i have to run different instances ?

is there a way to do
sound 1 in output 1 at volume 100 ?
etc...

and maybe more ?

i've been reading around but i do not see an answer i can understand ...

if anyone can teach me some concepts about sound spacialisation with one computer and processing...
