Monitor the pitch/frequency of a song in minim?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows how to have Minim monitor the pitch(or frequency) of a playing MP3 file. I'm using the method below to play the sound file:-

 song = minim.loadFile("test.mp3", 1024);
 song.play();

Ideally I would just like it to return a float about the current pitch at that moment in time. I imagine this has something to do with analyzing the amplitude of the sound over a period of time and then returning a value; but honestly I wouldn't know where to start!
