Exporting Jmyron/OpenCV Processing code

Hi Processers,
I played with JMyron and OpenCV as proposed in FaceDetect library (http://www.bryanchung.net/?page_id=251)
This works well within Processing

I'm on XP

I tried to export this, but :
- the application just does not start (nothing appears)
- the applet  keeps blank with error in Java Console :

java.lang.NullPointerException
     at sketch_apr17b.stop(sketch_apr17b.java:66)

     at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

I have the same problems for JMyron based programs and some other libraries - i guess it;s because the applets must be signed but i can't do that - i'm stuck ! pls help Cry

This seems to be a recurring problem with all external video libraries in processing (gsvideo, jmcvideo, opencv, etc.)....

I would love to understand why... but i just don't have enough knowledge to figure it out.

Would like that some java wizard would explain why this happens....  Cry

i am using only processing + Jmyron, and no other library. although, i suppose i'm referencing the processing video lib, through use of pixel[] ? i have signed all jar applets, and uploaded applet folder = on website (browser safari) am asked to allow key, but still nothing happens.

in firefox the applet doesn't work at all (no asking to allow webcam access, for eg).

is it simply that Jmyron doesn't work with self-cert jar signing?
