newbie question about opengl
Apr 9th, 2009, 4:38pm

I have a great deal of interest in learning more about processing, I have seen so many amazing things done with it. I have some experience with programming languages, but when it comes to all the opengl stuff, I am completely and utterly lost.

Other then the few examples on the processing website, I can't seem to find any really good resources on using opengl in processing. Am I just not looking in the right places?

Anyone got any websites or resources that they would recommend in learning how to use opengl? I understand a few of the basic things like adding textures or lightsources. But I have no idea how to get from the basic stuff to the amazing things I see created in processing.

Any help?

I was about to ask a similar question. Is there any information or even better tutorials, about the usage of shaders or other opengl features in processing the way for example Hodgins uses them, the "deep" project in the exhibition forum... I would love to see some processing related examples.
