Visualization of European Football Player Movement

Hi,

Id really like some feedback on a project I am working on to show the movement of european football players over the past 2 seasons.

Each dot represents towns/cities that have featured in player movement during this time, the lines between them are representative of the player movement.

In particular Id like to hear any suggestions to improve the aesthetic side of things, but if anyone has any ideas for additional functionality that would also be greatly received.

Hi,
i like it.
Hint:
1. attrib a color to each countries and draw line with blending colors (from start color to end color)
2. Allow to zoom (see my drawing program in other post)

Like i said in one of my earlier posts, get rid of that photosop plastic effect map...
i would use strokeWeight(1) and noStroke on the ellipse. Its already hard to read...
Another option would be to make it interactive. you already added the info  box. Why dont you only show the lines when you hover over the Point... and it seems like the toolbox only shows up when you hit the center of the ellipse. expand it to the whole circle by checking the disctance>radius
