Data visualization workshop in Lisbon

Dear all,

from April 20-22 I'll be teaching an intense 3-day workshop (7 hours per day) about data visualization at CADA in Lisbon. The workshop will be focused on our beloved Processing, but we'll also make use of other tools & languages for parts of the visualization creation process. To allow us to better concentrate on the topic at hand, you should have at least a good understanding of Processing basics and general programming constructs.

Understood, though that fee has nothing to do with me... That's what CADA has usually been charging for all their other workshops too.

And on the other hand, I'd also say this topic has a bit more "reality context" than a generic, basic Processing course. So you might even consider it an investment. The subjects we'll cover should give enough insights & skills to produce all aspects of visualizations and there's a growing demand for skilled people in that field...

yeh, data visualization and realtime interaction with it is very in vogue nowdays, would defnitly be cool to check it out - i know some of your work, you have some cool stuff.

Like toxi says, if you see it as an investment in your skills its worth it. I guess i could improve my already existing knowledge about data visualisation and realtime visualisation, so out would pay off soon enough.
