Help!
I am a total newbie and want to render an mov that I shot into ASCII and capture that as a new mov file. Can anyone help me with this? What is the best way to do this?
I am guessing i combine the play() with the ASCII video sketch and movieMaker?

Source mov is 720x576 PAL 25fps
Running on Mac OSX 10.4.11 PowerBook 15inch
Processing 1.0.3

Thanks

Hey
here is an applet I built quite a while ago, but a good starting point for you. Just instead of capturing the image, just load the video in.

I found that it was best to manually experiment with what characters work best for your piece.

cheers
