License options for OpenProcessing site?
Mar 15th, 2009, 4:24am

There has been some discussion on the OpenProcessing blog about what license sketches on that site should have: should there be an option for All Rights Reserved (ARR) code and content? Or should OpenProcessing continue to specify that all code is licensed under GPL and all content/works licensed under CC-Attribution-ShareAlike?

You can view the discussion thus far here:

I'd like to open this up to the wider Processing community to reflect and comment upon.

I think it's up to Sinan, the OpenProcessing creator. He's made a great contribution to the community through his hard work. If I were him, I'd carefully weigh the opinions of others and then make the decision.

I personally think all code there should be CC-GNU GPL. If people want a personal portfolio to promote themselves without sharing, there are plenty of other places to do that.
