Interacting with a SVG File

Hi !

I'm a french student and i just began to use processing and i would
need some help.
I tested an example found on wikipedia (the one which shows the last
election results on a US map).
And I wondered how could I program this map, with a mouse interaction
so that the user can click on a state on the map and see a text
appearing to tell some informations about the state on which he has
clicked.

I hope someone can help me and excuse my english...
