Ways to custamize PDF Export, grouping etc...

Im pretty sure its not possible, but i thought maybe somebody has a good workarround or hack.

Im working on a print project with alot of objects which cosists of alot of different lines, These lines mostly overlap. The problem is that i need to edit them in Illustrator afterwards. But its nearly impossible cause i can hardly select one object alone.

Is there a way to group them somehow?
Sometimes i do things like that by giving them slightly different colors for easy selection by color but thats not possible this time as i lerp different colors in one object....

Any Idea?

hi,

it is possible but you need to modify the PGraphicsPDF class like toxi does here:
http://toxi.co.uk/blog/2007/08/creating-weblinks-in-pdf-with-itext.htm

next have a look at these examples:
http://itextdocs.lowagie.com/tutorial/directcontent/optionalcontent/index.php

hope this is of some help
