Play sound asynchronously?

I am wondering does Minim allows audio to be play asynchronously.

What I want to do is to draw a ball bouncing and play a sound when it hits the boundary.  The sound file maybe a few seconds in length, but I would like Processing to be able to continue draw the ball movement and do other tasks. It wouldn't be good if the ball floats in mid-air while the program waits for the sound to finish playing.

All the audio libraries play sound asynchronously, the sound plays and your program will keep running.
